Warning Signs of Diabetes
Many times when people are diagnosed with diabetes type 2 it is very hard for them to believe that they really have the disease. This is partly because so many people are diagnosed with diabetes when they are being treated for other diseases or through a routine exam. Most people believe that to become diabetic, you have to be extremely overweight or have warning signs leading up to the disease.
What many people don’t realize is that diabetes type 2 is a disease with no warning signs or ones that can be easily mistaken for other illnesses. Here is a list of symptoms that are associated with diabetes type 2:
- Nausea
- Frequent urination
- Being thirsty
- Tired
- Dehydration
- Blurred vision
- Poor healing
Any of these symptoms can also be signs of other medical conditions. Some can even be linked to the weather if it is very hot and humid where you live. This is why it is so difficult to know that you may be diabetic. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, it would be a good idea to be tested to see if your blood glucose levels are normal. However, it may require several tests to determine if you have developed diabetes type 2. This is because your blood glucose levels changes often under different circumstances.
